  • Robert primarily takes on the criminal defense cases that come through our office. He’s handled thousands of criminal cases in his nearly 15-year career. He’s also got a great sense of humor, so if you’re looking for a lawyer that can put a smile on your face, he’s definitely your guy.

  • Ben leads the business law and bankruptcy division of Wadkins & Wallace. He’s a seasoned professional when it comes to working with small businesses, and startups, and assisting in contract formation and corporate disputes.

Wondering if we’ve handled recent cases that look like what you’re facing?  Here’s some of what we’ve worked on in the past, along with the outcomes our clients received.

Past Cases

  • Charge: Multiple drug-related charges

    Result: Case dismissed

    Analysis: This client had multiple felony charges, like:

    >> violation of the state’s Controlled Substances Act

    >> sale of cocaine

    >> possession of marijuana

    >> possession of drug-related objects

    >> failure to use a turn signal

    Although all of the drug charges were dismissed, the judge still wanted to make her plead guilty to the turn signal violation.

    Attorney Robert Wadkins negotiated with the DA to get all charges dismissed entirely.

  • Charge: Aggravated assault

    Result: Case dismissed

    Analysis: This client was arrested for aggravated assault. We obtained statements from the reported victims and witnesses, and we got them to the DA’s office quickly. Within two days, we got him out of jail, and within two weeks, we had his case dismissed.

  • Charge: Felony Obstruction and Interference with Government Property

    Result: Case dismissed

    Analysis: This client was charged with two felonies: Obstruction and Interference with Government Property. The State testified that the defendant violently struggled with police and kicked out the back window of the police car. Attorney Robert Wadkins looked into the defendant’s background and found substantial evidence of both mental health and substance abuse issues. Presenting this information to the district attorney, Wadkins was able to get these charges dismissed.
